Today the 139th AES Convention will take place in New York City at the Jacob Javits Center, bringing together the largest gathering of audio professionals in the world. Over the next four days, seminars, technical papers, workshops and exhibitors will provide attendees with an array of opportunities to network and learn about the latest developments happening within the audio community. Fraunhofer will be showcasing its audio technologies on the showfloor with demonstrations featuring:
- MPEG-H Audio Alliance TV audio system
- Fraunhofer Cingo: The demonstration will show Cingo’s 3D audio rendering capabilitiy with a Samsung Gear VR.
- xHE-AAC: The audio codec of choice for digital radio and low bit rate streaming
In addition to visiting the Fraunhofer booth, AES attendees will have a chance to hear from Fraunhofer’s audio experts in 12 conference contributions. A list can be found here:
